Brian Mueller appointed Director of Technology

Coval Group has appointed Brian Mueller as Director of Technology. He brings years of coatings and advanced materials research experience to Coval to advance and promote their next generation coating applications.

Brian is an innovative technology manager, scientist, grant writing and technical sale consultant. He is experienced in the application of novel approaches in advanced materials and coatings, semiconductor manufacturing, oil and gas and total well site sustainable solutions. He holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry and has been active in the industrial specialty chemicals for over 20 years with claims to over 38 patents. In addition to his position with Coval Group, Brian is actively consulting in several areas:

He is principle investigator on 2 DOE and 1 NSF SBIR research grants. Involved in Rare Earth Extraction and Coal based materials. Conducted work in lithium ion battery electrodes. Primary chemist on the development of a new, energy efficient desalination process for high TDS brines (>100,000 TDS) Lead technical consultant for the lowest cost, safest and most carbon neutral produced water recycle process to make clear brine for fracking. He is an expert in advance oxidation processes and also has experience in polishing and cleaning in front end semiconductor manufacturing.
